The zoo was awesome. We expected it to be CROWDED because most schools take their field trips on Fridays. It was EMPTY!! There were a couple families and maybe 3 other schools... MAYBE. For the most part it was completely empty. I was thrilled.

We first went to the zebras. All the kids would yell out 'HI __________' whenever they found out the word for the animal. It was so cute. They would yell out 'HI ZEBRA!!' it was SOOOOO adorable.
Then we went and saw elephants, camels, monkeys and giraffes.
Unfortunately they don't allow much time for us to do much of anything.... We had to rush back to the bus and then back to the school. We were about 40 minutes late to the bus. Woops. Then 20 minutes late to the school. oh well. The kids were having fun. And we were having fun with them.
I was at one point walking along with one set of kids (they had BUDDIES they had to keep track of) on either side of me and then another set attached to them... They didn't have to hold my hand at all. They were allowed to look around as long as they were between the front teacher and the back teacher. But they wanted to walk with me and chatter to me in VERY broken english.

So cute.
Here are some random pics....

(I'm currently laughing at this recording of Daniel's voice that is playing over and over in my head... I'll explain briefly
When we tell him to hurry up in the bathroom at school he yells out 'OKAYYYY OKAYYYY' but its so exasperated sounding... I laugh so hard every time. So Michelle and I keep calling him even though we know he knows.... just so we can hear 'OKAYYYY OKAYYY' oh god... you'd have to hear it to find it funny... just trust me)
