Kids these days....

I am having issues enjoying my time in Korea.

Not because it isn't a great country... but because the people I work for are incredibly frustrating. Thats for another blog.... another time.

This blog is dedicated to the incredibly adorable kids I teach each day.

I have said and I will say it again.... My class is the class of rejects.

All the kids in my class are mentally retarded in some way, but don't know it yet.

I have a class full of complete weirdos. One kid will spend all class smacking his face... the girl next to him will shake her head for 10 minutes straight... while the kid on the other side of the room is humping the air.

My class is weird. BUT, they couldn't have a better teacher for their weirdness... I'm definitely not normal.

Here are some pics of my kids that are cute... or made me laugh.

Yuna... is a complete camera whore. She reminds me of how I probably was at her age... completely ornery and lacking the ability to listen... but super cute (pats self on back for being cute)

Devil horns... so fitting

My favorite picture of her EVER... it shows exactly what kind of a kid she is. Cute and sweet, but with a little devil in her.

I don't know why she thinks I can't find her....

This next photo shows Kate... who is the weirdest in the class, for sure. She licks other kids.... kisses boys while IN the boys bathroom.... wears her shoes on the wrong feet and pulls her pants down in the middle of class. Kate is unique.

My attempt at taking a picture of just Emily was thwarted by Yuna... the camera whore.

Emily is shy but constantly bouncing. She gets jealous when I hold other kids... and jumps while answering questions...

This brings me to Alice... my favorite. I have tried very hard to not play favorites, but you cannot help but LOVE Alice. She decides she loves you and is attached to you for life. She cannot go one minute without touching you or standing on your feet or holding your hand or wrapping her arms around your neck. Her tiny baby/kid voice makes her that much more adorable. The fact that she is at the school from 9am til 6pm everyday and still leaves the school happy and excited about life and sad to see her teachers go... shows what an amazing kid she is. She never throws fits and makes your day so much brighter when she runs down the hall to you yelling "teacher!!!" in the morning... afternoon... evening.

She has multiple times pulled food out of her mouth... food that she LOVES and offered it to me. Gross... but a cute gesture.

I love love love this kid more than I've ever loved a kid

With her classmates. All those bigger kids come up to my waist... which shows you how tiny Alice is

Leaning against my stomach... hoping to be picked up.
